Night intrusion at his home in Antananarivo. A group of men with covered faces, carrying firearms and bladed weapons, at least six of whom entered the house. Security staff and household staff were tied up, gagged and beaten. The safe was opened under duress. Rooms were searched and property taken, including five firearms lawfully registered in the name of Sylvain Rabetsaroana and his family. Nothing was returned.
